This investigative story is a product by five journalists of DIMENSi, a student-run experimental campus news product to fulfill the requirement of Data Analytic and Investigative Reporting.

The majority of people believe that SOSMA should be reviewed and amended since it is considered as inhumane and a mockery to the legal system. Our team realised that the public, particularly the younger generation, had not been adequately informed about the law.

We aim to raise public awareness regarding how SOSMA operates at its core, as well as getting more insights of what the experts say about what the public perceives as a draconian law.
